droppin screens: Screening a phone call. Deliberately not answering a phone call because you dont want to talk to that particular person.

Summer School: A nickname for a person (usually a girl) who exhibits no class (hence, Summer School).

real world: 1. The world outside the Internet. 2. The world outside the education system/academia. 3. The world as experienced by those who are not wealthy and have no friends in high places.

gradumacate: The successful completion of four years of school, with passing grades. See also edumacate.

infinity plus shipping and handling: Infinity plus shipping and handling is similar to infinity plus one. It stems from the idea that everything has shipping and handling tacked on when ordered.

schooled: To teach a lesson to.

Senioritis: noun. A crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include: laziness, an over-excessive wearing of track pants, old athletic shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and sweatshirts. Also features a lack of studying, repeated absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as Graduation.

school of hard knocks: Life itself; knowledge (and wisdom) gained by working for it, and not necessarily from a book.

rents: Your Biological parents, or care takers. Mom and Pop.

keep it posi: short for "keep it positive." to maintain a positive outlook. used by emokids, skaters, etc

bang piece: Somethng you consider totally awesome.

Whatever Humps Your Camel: synonym to "whatever floats your boat" also meaning do whatever the fuck you want.

done: 1. finished, through, distroyed 2. drunk, high, wasted,

spin doctor: 1) somebody who works in or for the media who ensures that the public understands things from a certain perspective. 2) a radio station DJ, or MC at a club or event.

Emergency Dance Party: Used to break an akward moment, or just in times of boredom. One simply yells emergency dance party and counts down from five and starts beat boxing. Everyone there starts dancing for a period of about ten-thirty seconds.

TMI: Too Much Information - way more than you need/want to know about someone.

break the glass: Say this when you're breaking out the big guns. When evertything you've tried has failed, and you're resorting to your emergency plan. From breaking the glass of fire extinguishers to put out a fire.

dreamy: 1. Describing a totally whimsical and lovely state of mind or experience. 2. Having outstanding, superlative, or extraordinary qualities. Synonyms for Dreamy: gorgeous, fabulous, incredible, unbelievable, beyond expectations, out of the ordinary, amazing, delightful, surprisingly beautiful.

man crush: A man who has a crush on another man without sexual attraction.

POATEW: Angry; Irate; woke up on the wrong side of the bed. From the acronym Pissed Off At The Entire World. Pronounced poe-AH-too.

snarf: to pilfer, to take something that one perceives as off-limits, especially as related to food or beverage consumption.

paste-eater: another term for a geek, nerd, dweeb. Someone who does not fit in. Refers to the kind of kid who got in trouble for eating paste in preschool activities.

what's with the socks: A term to ask what is the new occurances in the life of a friend, instead of "what's up" See plain old white socks

anti: unenthusiastic; against

tough crowd: what someone would say after telling a joke or other humorous anecdote, and then getting deadpan looks and no verbal acknowledgement from the people listening.

circle talk: A person/conversation that continually forgets what was just asked, and the same question repeatedly comes up. Usually associated with a medicated person. (Also see circle talker)

Death Star: A building which electronic signals (i.e. cellphone) cannot penetrate.

naplash: What happens to you when you start nodding off and then you jerk your head back suddenly. Happens a lot when staying on the computer too long. Very dangerous if driving.
